We Have Action

This is a very loose timeline as to what’s happening with the repairs, since weather comes into play.

As of now, they have found, there is flashing, however, there is also tape somehow involved in the construction. The tape on there now is “NOT TO CODE”. It is not sticking. This tape is being replaced with “to code” criteria.

As far as I know now, all units on the Lian side of the bldg. will have new tape. Today, they worked on Mike Sleep’s unit and Judy’s unit. Since it’s going to rain tomorrow, they will be working on the inside of those 3 units–Judy’s, Mike’s and Irene’s.

Then they will tackle the middle 3 units and then progress on to the last 3 units. Can’t tell you the exact date–we didn’t know until yesterday that they were going to be here today for sure.

This timeline is not in stone.

Roof Et Al.

TO OWNERS 160 & 170

The roof on 160 has been repaired by Legace. It took about 1 hr.

The guy that did the work mentioned that he has not seen as bad a roof as ours. He took pics and will pass on to Andrew.

It has been suggested that Mr. Clark be approached to oversee the work done on 160. Don and Albert have already been talking and Mr. Clark is willing to oversee the work along with Don.

Fire Trucks

Never a dull moment!!!!!

We had some excitement today, at “ye ole ranch”….there was a overheated magic bag that was giving off a burning odor.

911 was called the trucks came. Everything has been checked out by the fire dept and all is good.

New Condo Board

Dear Condo Owners:

Please note that at the 2 August 2011 Condo Corporation meeting, a new Board of Directors was elected. The outgoing Board (Bob Young, Charles Hartford, Chase McGrath and Kim Sarters) will be replaced by the following:

  • President – Bill Harding
  • Vice-President – Marilyn Jagoe
  • Treasurer – Bob Wood
  • Secretary – Carrie Beers

The General Manager position, formerly held by Hedley Forbes, will be filled in the near future.
